B: Not yet, but I’ll look out for her.
keep an eye on — watch carefullyA: I'm going to the kitchen for a minute. Can you keep an eye on the kids?
B: Sure, I'll watch them.
Has it come yet?
A: Has the parcel come yet?
B: Not yet. The driver said it'd be here by twelve, but he's not turned up.
A: Typical. Can you keep an eye on the door while I'm in the shower?
B: Yeah, go on. I'll shout if I hear the van.
Nipping out for a bit
A: I'm just popping to the shop. Look out for the courier, will you?
B: Course. What's it look like?
A: Big white van, usually turns up round the back.
B: Right, I'll keep an eye on the window. Won't miss it.
