How competitive do you get when you're playing a game?

B2Games & playingReflect

A natural way to answer

I'm fairly competitive. I try to keep it light-hearted, but I do genuinely want to win, and I can get a little frustrated if I'm losing badly.

Key phrases to use

  • play to win — to play seriously with the clear goal of winning, not just for fun“Whenever we play cards, he plays to win.”
  • thrown a strop — to have a sulky, bad-tempered reaction, often over something small“He threw a strop when he lost the final round.”
