Would you rather live surrounded by nature or in the heart of a busy city? Why?
C1Nature & the outdoorsOpinion
A natural way to answer
It's a difficult choice. I appreciate the convenience and energy of a city, but I think constant noise would wear me down over time. On balance, I'd lean towards living near nature, ideally somewhere just outside a city so I could have the best of both worlds, peace at home and amenities nearby.
Key phrases to use
- have the best of both worlds — to enjoy the advantages of two different things at the same time, without the downsides of either“Working from home two days a week, I get the best of both worlds.”
- on your doorstep — very close to where you live and easy to reach“We've got a huge park right on our doorstep.”
