Traveller: Hiya, I've got a booking. I'd like to check in, please.
Receptionist: Lovely. Just the one night with us, is it?
Traveller: That's right, we're only spending the night and heading off in the morning.
Receptionist: No bother. Room 12, top of the stairs. Breakfast's on till nine.

Traveller: Any chance of a room for tonight? We've not booked ahead.
Receptionist: Sorry, love, we're fully booked this weekend.
Traveller: Ah, that's a shame. We just needed somewhere to spend the night.
Receptionist: Try the Bell down the road, they might have space.
