Pattern: market price (of something)

It's 'market price' (the going rate), not 'marketing price'.

Choose the version that sounds natural in speech.

Stiff We sold it at the price currently prevailing in the market.

Natural We sold it at the market price.

'Market price' is the fixed term; spelling out 'the price prevailing in the market' is clumsy.
