First day in the new flat

Mia: So this is it — we finally move in today!

Tom: I can't believe it. The old place felt so cramped.

Mia: I know. I was so glad to move out of there.

Tom: Me too. Right, where do we even start with all these boxes?

Sorting out the furniture

Tom: The wardrobe came flat-packed, so we'll have to put it together ourselves.

Mia: Ugh, the instructions are useless. Pass me the little Allen key.

Tom: And shall we put up a couple of shelves over the desk?

Mia: Yes please — that'd give us loads more storage.

Out of the boxes

Mia: Shall we start with the kitchen? I want to unpack the plates first.

Tom: Good plan. At least then we can eat something tonight.

Mia: Exactly. The bedroom boxes can wait until tomorrow.

Tom: Perfect. One room at a time and it won't feel so overwhelming.
