B: She did, but she went back on her promise and said she's too busy now.
Let's not fall out over it
A: We've been going round in circles for an hour.
B: I know. Can we just talk it over properly instead of shouting?
A: Fine. But I'm not backing down on the budget.
B: Nobody's asking you to. Let's find a middle ground.

A: You said you'd cover Saturday and now you won't.
B: I'm not going back on anything, something came up.
A: Right, so who's covering the shift?
B: Let's talk it over with the manager tomorrow, yeah?
